How much do movers cost for a local move?
For a local move within a 70 km radius, you can expect to pay movers by the hour. The price for 2 movers and a truck will cost you between $95 and $135 per hour before May 20 or from July 5. A moving team of more than two people will reduce the number of hours, but you will have to pay for the additional mover. When moving within the same building, moving labor only (without the moving truck) will cost around $95 and up. There are many different factors that can affect the cost of your move.

How long does it take to move?
The time required to move depends on the specific circumstances of each individual case. Moving a studio or small room takes approximately 2 to 4 hours. Moving two bedrooms takes approximately 3-5 hours. Moving three to four bedrooms can take up to 7 hours or more. Moving five or more bedrooms can take 8 to 10 hours or more.
To calculate the duration, the principle of 1 piece = 1 hour or 1.5 hours. If you live on the third or fourth floor but there is no elevator, this can have a significant impact on your local moving costs.
